I love violet tones. Usually in a 'violet picture' there are at least three and the mixture of them makes a unique mood emerge... in this photo, however, you used basically one tone. To my point of view, it is the most soft and delicate one, a quintessence of the violet colour. The feathers with these little shiny elements on them look so glamorous. Beauty which lies in simplicity is probably the best I can say here. It's a great concept I've never came across before. Only One basic colour, a couple of feathers and shiny pieces combined together to make a tremendous effect.
You want me to 'lie to you?' No problem... It's a pathetic worthless picture, not worth looking at (even for a second), with no message ...and it's all just lies. You have no idea how much effort it costed me to write all this 'lie part'... while all true things above came just naturally.
Guess I'm a poor liar, so I'll tell the obvious truth. You simply stole my heart with this deviation...
In my opinion it's all in all a good work. But there are two things which destroy the perfection: - The position of the drop - the focus ( a bit! )
1 -> Position: I think the picture would be better if the drop was positioned in the middle of the feather. Now, the viewer has to look right and that's a bit disturbing 2-> On the one hand, the focus is very sharp and clear, but on the other one it's a bit too large. The impression would be better if the focus is only on the drop. But that's a small blemish
